Overview

This policy explains what personal information Giltedge collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the Giltedge website and service.

Information we collect

  • Account information - your email address, and a display name or basic profile details from a sign-in provider (such as Google) if you choose to use one.
  • What you give us to build a kit - the job title, company, and job description you enter, any notes, and a resume if you upload one.
  • Content we generate - your PrepKits and any practice answers and analysis.
  • Billing information - your subscription and credit status and a payment-processor customer reference. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers.
  • Technical and usage data - standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and which pages you use, kept to run, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Essential cookies - used only to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising.

How we use your information

  • to create your PrepKits and run the live research that grounds them;
  • to manage your account, credit balance, and subscription;
  • to process payments and send transactional email, such as confirmations;
  • to keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse, including detecting duplicate or automated sign-ups; and
  • to maintain and improve the Service and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your resume or kit inputs for advertising.

AI processing of your content

To generate a PrepKit, the inputs you provide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce your content. Under our agreement, Anthropic processes these inputs to deliver your result and does not use them to train its models. To ground your kit in real information, role- and company-related queries are also sent to a web-research provider (Tavily) to gather publicly available content.

Service providers we share data with

We share information only with the providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

  • Supabase - authentication, database, and file storage;
  • Anthropic - AI generation of your PrepKits and practice analysis;
  • Tavily - web research used to ground your kit;
  • Stripe - payment processing;
  • Resend - sending account and transactional email;
  • Vercel - hosting and delivery of the website.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

Your resume and uploads

If you upload a resume, we use it only to personalize the kits you generate. It is stored privately and is not shared beyond the providers listed above. You can delete it at any time.

How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls that isolate each account so you can only see your own records. Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual kits at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and its associated data. We may retain limited records, such as transaction history, where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage your kits and subscription in your account, and you can exercise other rights by emailing us. We will respond as required by applicable law.

International processing

Our providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

Children

Giltedge is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, take additional steps to notify you where appropriate.
